This trade is an exhaustive one, introduced by the NCT with a view to equip the trainees with practical and theoretical training of civil draughts manship. The training in this engineering trade embraces building drawing and estimating , reinforced concrete technology, planning and orientation of building, bridges, damn etc. The demand of Civil Draughtsman is very high. The National Trade Certificate Holders of this trade are fit to secure quick and remunerative employment in the fast expanding field of Civil Engineering as Overseers, Draughts men, Supervisors, Tracers, Designers, Surveyors, in the government and quasi-government departments and private concerns. The training in this trade necessarily involves draughtsmanship as required by local bodies like Corporations, Municipalities, Panchayaths etc.
